I have designed a Valentine Card to go along with the "Super" Pencil Toppers for my kids classroom. Now keep in mind, I am not a professional card maker or anything of that sort. It's basic but nice for both boys and girls. Print it out and then use a hole punch to make the holes. Then slide it onto your pencil. I have seen others like it but I just wanted this particular look and not have to print out a whole bunch of other stuff with it that I didn't want. I am sure you know what I mean.
I always like to do non candy ideas for my kids to give to classmates for Valentine's Day. I was looking for something different and original this year and didn't see anything I liked. So what is a mom to do but make one herself. :) Introducing
These little cuties can be totally customized. Does your boy like Superman or Batman? Does your daughter like Wonder Woman? I know I do. You could put their initials on them or just leave them plain. They look great either way. They work up in about 10 minutes or less. Perfect for the last minute gifts. Throw on a pencil and tag and you are all set.
This pattern only takes 2 skeins. 1 in each color. I actually got 37 capes from one skein of red so it will make a ton. I used I Love This Yarn Sport Weight.
